Aromhuset Zero Sugar Concentrate For Baking
Edibles offer a delicious and convenient way to medicate with cannabis. Cannabis concentrates can provide much greater relief over inhaled flower, making this method of consumption ideal for people with high tolerance levels or those looking for continuous effects of cannabis use.
Know what you’re purchasing when visiting a dispensary, particularly when purchasing sugar. There are two forms of sugar – crumbly wax-like concentrate that looks similar to wet sugar that can be used with an electronic dab rig like the Puffco Peak or dual vaporizer with concentrate insert such as PAX 3; and canna-sugar that can be eaten directly off of menus.
Decarboxylation, the first step in producing any THC-infused edible, involves turning non-psychoactive THCa into psychoactive THC that induces euphoria and cerebral effects. For ease of decarboxylation of concentrates, low temperature ovens provide the ideal way to do it.
Once your concentrate is decarboxylated, add it to a fat source such as butter, coconut oil or MCT oil (much simpler to work with than olive oil). For optimal results add one teaspoon of lecithin which speeds THC absorption into the bloodstream more quickly. Use low heat when cooking to ensure no extraction burns out while for best results chill the infused butter in the freezer for several minutes – this way it will come out more like a solid lump than sticky oil!
